As they say Tennis is not played with the Hands but with Legs.
Thus fitness training is a key part of Player Development.
A LARGE PART OF EACH DAY IS SPENT IMPROVING STRENGTH, SPEED, ENDURANCE, COORDINATION AND FLEXIBILITY
One of the cornerstones of our Academy's training programme is fitness. A large part of each day is spent improving strength, speed, endurance, coordination and flexibility and implementing an injury prevention system that is essential to the development of each player.
When it comes to fitness, the key to success is in customising the programme based on the individual characteristics of each player. In this area, particular importance is given to specific exercises that promote joint mobility and strengthen muscles with a view to maximising physical strength and, by doing so, preventing injuries.
We also boasts ideal facilities, which include on- and off-court fitness circuits, a football pitch and basketball court and natural surroundings in which we organise activities such as running and other circuit training.
